More Details

The 25g Rat & Mouse Bait Packs might be small but deliver a deadly strong punch. Each pack is filled with highly attractive whole grains coated with a strong attractant highly alluring to rodents ensuring fast and effective control.

Simply take 2-4 bait pack and place securely where rats and mice are feeding, along runways or where there are signs of activity and leave the bait pack to do the rest. One bait pack can potentially kill a up to 10 mice or 2 rats. The bait packs are edible and cleverly designed to allow the smell of the attractants out, yet keep the bait in very good condition against any extremes in weather.

For best results and to remove the risk of accidental exposure use poison baits with a bait station.

  • Active Ingredient Difenacoum (0.005%)
  • Kills rats and mice indoors and outdoors.
  • Contains aniseed which is highly attractive to mice and rats.
  • Kills rats and mice resistant to earlier anticoagulants (ie Warfarin).

How To Use Raco Rat and Mouse Bait Sachets

  1. Place bait sachet where there are signs of rodent activity. For example where there are fresh droppings, inside or near burrows, runways and feeding places.
  2. For rat infestations, use bait points of 50-100g and place bait points 10 metres apart, reducing to 5 metres in cases of high infestation.
  3. For mouse infestations use bait points of 10-20g and place bait points 5m apart, reducing to 3m in cases of high infestation.
  4. Protect bait points from non-target animals and from water. Ideally used with bait stations.
  5. Make frequent inspections of the bait points and replace any bait that has been eaten by rodents or that has been damaged by water or contaminated by dirt.
  6. If all the bait has been eaten in certain areas, increase the quantity of bait by placing more bait points. Do not increase the bait point size.

Important Application Information
  • FOR OUTDOOR USE - Bait Stations must be used to reduce the risk of accidental exposure.
  • Never leave bait exposed to non-target animals.
  • Never fail to inspect the bait regularly.

  • If possible, collect and dispose of rodent bodies as recommended on the product label, to prevent second-hand poison exposure to non-target species.

Use Rodenticides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

Baiting Tips & Advice for Rat Infestations

Bait should be placed strategically in the areas rats frequent most. Rats cannot climb well so it is likely they frequent in the walls and clutter of your downstairs. They will eat the blocks and go back to their nest where it will begin to take effect. A rat will need to consume a larger amount of bait compared to mice. Therefore make sure you put down enough bait to provide a lethal dose. Not all rats will eat it straight away so be patient as this may take time.

Please note that this is only a good method to use and effective in a situation where you have access to the rat as they will perish in the nest and be left there until you are able to dispose of it. Also, keep away from other pets such as dogs and cats.

Baiting Tips & Advice for Mouse Infestations

Baits are easy and effective to use. The bait can be set down in areas where mice are likely to travel, such as the back of cabinets and under appliances. They will eat the bait, return to their nest and perish.

A mouse will need to consume about 10g of poison in one day. They will not consume the desired quantity in one sitting, but should consume desired amount in one whole day. The mice will not die straight away. It will take a number of days for the mice to die after being poisoned. This is because if a mouse dies straight away the other mice will associate the smell of the bait to death and will not touch any other foods with the same smell.
